Is This McNabb's last year?

I gotta go with yes. With Kolb waiting in the wings, I'm sure they aren't going to want to make him the next Aaron Rodgers. And McNabb is a big cap hit next year.

Yeah, but Kolb wasn't a first round pick, getting first round money. My opinion is they drafted Kolb who is a few year project in hoping they find a steady back-up for cheap money.

Kolb might actually be what Jason Campbell is, a project that will take a few years before the team has confidence in him starting. I wouldn't mind seeing him start for the Eagles, but not until McNabb has nothing left in the tank to offer for us.

He's a much improved AJ Feeley for now. Think they'll make him the top backup for now, and the transition guy for when they draft their next #1 quarterback before either moving him for picks/players or keeping him as a high #2 backup.

Kolb could also become future trade bait like AJ Feeley in the past or Matt Shaub when he was in Atlanta.

Most teams need two quality quarterbacks. Kolb will never be better than McNabb, but it doesn't hurt to have two quality guys.
